The Crushing Wokeness™ Upgrade kit is an aftermarket do-it-yourself product that you can use to transform your standard* Monopoly® game into Crushing Wokeness™, a board game mocking wokeness, political correctness and cancel culture. Crushing Wokeness ™ bridges the gap between the familiar, highly iconic Monopoly® board game and the current politically charged cancel-culture climate – you might even call the upgraded Monopoly® game “Wokeopoly™”.

The key to the success of the Crushing Wokeness ™ Monopoly® game makeover is the way that it integrates classic game play with current topical ideas and a sharp, satirical edge. Some examples:

Two action card decks: “Chance”, “Community Chest”.	Three action card decks: “Real World”, “Nanny State” and “Wokeodile™”.
“Chance” and “Community Chest” action card decks are always the same.	“Real World”, “Nanny State” and “Wokeodile™” card decks can be expanded by adding Action Card Expansion Packs including player action card ideas submitted via the Website “Woke of the Week™” feature.

Changing the action cards and selected board squares significantly changes game play. The upgrade kit thus bridges the gap between classic Monopoly and Crushing Wokeness ™ for the current highly contentious political climate.

Action Cards Drive The Game

Action cards provide the uncertainty that helps keep Crushing Wokeness ™ interesting. There are three squares on the board track for each of the action cards plus one “Player’s Choice” wildcard square where the current player gets to pick an action card from any of the three action card decks. There are 20 initial action cards supplied in each of the three action card decks – Real World, Nanny State and Wokeodile – but the game is designed to be extensible via our unique Action Card Expansion Packs and can be played with more cards in each of the three action card decks.

The three action card decks – many inspired by real world events – are loosely focused on different aspects of wokeness, political correctness and cancel culture:

Real World ™ action cards focus on large events regionally, nationally and internationally that point up the often petty and trivial nature of wokeness in the larger scheme of things. Things like national income tax increases, natural disasters, war, inflation, stock market events, etc. are found in the Real World action cards.

Example Real World ™ Action Cards:

Nanny State ™ action cards focus on events of a more local nature. School board decisions, state and local taxes, state pandemic responses, etc. are found in Nanny State action cards.

Example Nanny State ™ Action Cards:

Wokeodile ™ action cards focus on the absurd behavior of wokeness, cancel culture and politically correct group think. Wokeodile cards can give or take away. Past actions, absurd over sensitivity, twitter mob over-reactions, etc. are found in Wokeodile action cards.

Unlike classic Monopoly®, where the Chance and Community Chest action cards almost universally affect only the current individual player, the Crushing Wokeness™ Real World, Nanny State and Wokeodile action cards can affect an individual player, groups of players or all players:

Board Stickers Change The Board

The Monopoly® to Crushing Wokeness™ Upgrade Kit includes printed adhesive stickers (removable adhesive) that are placed over the standard Monopoly® action card and other standard board game track squares:

When you install the stickers and use the new action cards the play of the game is significantly changed:

Three “Chance” action card squares on the board track. 16 Chance action cards included with game.	No “Chance” squares. Squares are stickered to become the three “Real World” action card squares on the board track. 20 Real World action cards included with update kit.
Three “Community Chest” action card squares on the board track. 16 Community Chest action cards included with game.	No “Community Chest” squares. Squares are stickered to become the three “Nanny State” action card squares on the board track. 20 Nanny State action cards included with update kit.
Two utility squares (“Electric Company”, “Water Works”) and one “Luxury Tax” square on the board track.	No utility or luxury tax squares. Squares are stickered to become the three “Wokeodile” action card squares on the board track. 20 Wokeodile action cards included with update kit.
One “Income Tax” square on the board track.	No income tax square. Square is stickered to become a player’s choice “wildcard” on the board track where the current player gets to pick an action card from any of the three action card decks.
One “Go To Jail” corner square on the board track . Land on this square and go directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.	No “Go To Jail” corner square. Square is stickered to become the “You’re Cancelled. Go To The Woke Gulag ™” square on the board track. Land on this square and go directly to the Woke Gulag. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
One “In Jail” corner square on the board track where you go for various penalties. Get out of jail by rolling doubles or by using a “Get Out of Jail Free” card.	No “In Jail” corner square. Square is stickered to become the “Woke Gulag ™” square on the board track where you go when you are “Cancelled” for various offenses. Get out of the gulag by rolling doubles or using a “You’re Uncancelled” card.

There are also stickers for the main board center logo and three stickers for the center board spaces upon which to place the three action card decks during play.
