Crushing Wokeness ™ started out as just a vaguely formed idea. Over the months it slowly congealed into a board game concept that has become a reality. The result is a simple, original do-it-yourself upgrade kit that transforms the world’s most recognized board game, keeping it fun to play while ridiculing the current atmosphere of political correctness, wokeness and cancel culture.
The upgraded game bridges the gap between the familiar, highly iconic Monopoly® board game and the current raucous political climate – you might even call the upgraded game “Wokeopoly™”. The upgrade kit has a unique ability to be expanded using Action Card Expansion Packs . Users can submit ideas for expansion cards using the website “Woke of the Week feature and winning submissions will receive a $100 Amazon gift card. Planning for expansion keeps the game fresh and keeps players and potential players engaged and interested in the game. The upgrade kit is an impulse buy for anyone interested having a fun evening of gaming while poking fun at wokeness, political correctness and the cancel culture.
Crushing Wokeness ™ is in the satirical tradition of great humorists like Carson, Leno, Stewart, Carlin and others. While edgy, irreverent and occasionally a bit sharp and snarky, the game is good humored. Unlike much of cancel culture, the game is never vicious or personal – the names “Trump”, “Biden” and other high visibility individuals in the news do not appear in the upgrade kit. And it’s fun to play! It is hoped that maybe even some of the wokesters themselves will see in the game upgrade kit an opportunity to laugh a bit at the absurdity of some of their positions.
